4th & 5th Graders from Brimmer and May school sew beds for shelter cats at the Boston MSPCA
May 16, 2013

A group of 4th and 5th graders sewed cat beds for the MSPCA adoptable cats. They saw pictures of the cat beds that last year's 5th grade sewed, and their teachers taught them how to thread a needle and sew stitches. The students learned how they can make a big difference in the lives of homeless animals, and most of them learned how to sew for the first time! The students enjoyed this project, and the cats were very appreciative of their brand new fleece beds!
