One day, after considerable thought, I decided that I wanted to adopt a dog. I wanted the dog to be the best possible match for my life style - friendly, fun, and active. I went to the Methuen MSPCA one afternoon to look at potential canine mates, and as I was driving out of the parking lot I saw her! While it might sound crazy, I knew in that moment that she was the dog for me.

Maddy has been a part of my life for about 6 months now, and she is absolutely wonderful. I always knew that I wanted to adopt a shelter Pit Bull, but I had no idea that Maddy would be so great. We go trail running, hang out in the park, and even go on road trips. She has truly been a much needed (and welcome) addition to my life. Thank you to everyone at the Methuen MSCPA for providing me with an opportunity to adopt such a fun and lovable dog. She and I both appreciate it!
