Spots was brought to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm because he wasn’t getting along with the other dog in his home. After a long five-month stay at the adoption center, he finally met his forever family.
My family had recently lost our first pet, a beautiful Rottweiler name Delilah, to cancer. We were really having a hard time dealing with the loss and emptiness. We went to the shelter "just to look" but when we saw Spots we fell in love with him. He was so handsome and affectionate. I never thought I would get a pit bull, but after we spent time with Spots and realized how loving and gentle he was, we couldn't resist putting in an application.
It's going on 4 weeks now that he's been a part of our family and we couldn't be happier. I'm pretty sure Spots is happy too! He gets lots of love and attention from me, my husband, and my two sons, and he also gets to sleep in my bed! He loves everyone who comes to visit and is a happy-go-lucky guy. My sons really enjoy playing catch with him and I enjoy having a walking buddy. Already I can’t imagine not having his smiling face and wagging tail greet me every morning and every evening when I come home from work.
