My name is Nino.  Aren't I about the most handsome boy you have ever seen?  Can you believe I'm 12 years old?

I picked out my new family a little over five months ago at the MSPCA.  They came in with my new sister, Lola, looking to take home another 4-legged baby.  As soon as they saw me, it was all over - there was no other dog for them!

My mom says that I'm a great ambassador for my breed, that I'm full of love for EVERYONE I meet and I'm just about the happiest guy you've ever met (despite the fact that my first twelve years were so tough).  In fact, my tail wags so much that it sometimes hurts!  My favorite things are hugs and kisses, and of course tons of yummy treats.

Sometimes I go to school with my mom - she says that I'm so awesome that she wants everyone to get the chance to meet me, and that it's important that as many people as possible see how awesome Pit Bulls are.  All of the kids in her classroom love me too, and some of the other teachers joke around that she'd better be careful - that if she's not looking, they may try to take me home with them!

I love my new bullmastiff sister, Lola, too.  She's very, very picky about whom she likes, but luckily she loves me.  We give each other kisses all the time and look out for each other whenever we go out for walks.  My mom says that a lot of people don't trust "my kind" with other dogs.  Now that's just silly!  It was love at first sight!
