Cocoa, adopted 12-29-10
October 5, 2012

"We adopted Cocoa from MSPCA Boston in December of 2010.  Her color was listed as pink and brown because she was mostly bald!  Prior to being rescued, she had been woefully neglected and, as a result, suffered from demodex (a form of mange).  Despite Cocoa’s challenging appearance (and smell!) our whole family fell in love with her sweet nature and her complete desire to be with a human family.  We nursed her back to furry, brown health and signed her up for dog training.  Cocoa is an awesome dog, friendly with all people and dogs – she adores her couple days a week at doggie daycare.  Cocoa is a wonderful addition to our family, even though she still has bursts of mischievous puppy energy, chewing up toys and shrubbery.  Our daughters love her!"
