We recently adopted Max, a gentle and curious 9-year-old cat, from the MSPCA at Nevins Farm. This is our second successful experience adopting a "senior." Like most mature cats, Max is calm, confident, and well-behaved. He has quickly assimilated into our family and our normal routine. Some people hear "senior" and think that means a cat that just lies around, but Max still has plenty of energy to play and romp around, he just does it with the utmost politeness! Plus he has so much love to give. We love the way he likes to rub the back of his head against us when he's ready to snuggle...and how sometimes he forgets to put his tongue back into his mouth, and just a bit of it sticks out. We would encourage families to give available senior pets a second look. You won't be disappointed.
