Rabbit 101- A Community Education Program

Rabbit 101!

Are you thinking about adding a pet rabbit to the family?
Rabbits are cool pets, but very different from cats and dogs.  Before making the decision to take a bunny home, come learn about them!
This hour long presentation will include basic information on rabbit behavior, diet, housing, exercise, handling and wellness.  And afterward, we will provide an opportunity for your family to meet our adoptable rabbits!  Kids are welcome and encouraged to come.

WHO: Presented by our MSPCA Methuen Small Animal Task Force, Boston MSPCA & Wellness Exams by Boston Vet Tech-Karyn
WHERE: Boston MSPCA: 350 South Huntington Ave, Boston MA 02130
WHEN: Sunday, April 13th from 2:30pm-4pm
QUESTIONS?: Email bostonvolunteer@mspca.org or call (617) 524-5708

The presentation is free but if you would like to bring your rabbit in for an exam and nail trim please register by emailing bostonvolunteer@mspca.org so we know and can prepare for how many rabbits will be coming in. We do ask for a suggested donation of $10 for the exam and nail trim.

Please make sure that your rabbit is in an appropriate carrier. The carrier should be large enough that your bun will be comfortable enough to stay in it for the hour.  If your rabbit is showing any sign of a contagious illness: runny nose, weepy eyes, etc. please do not bring him/her in but do set up an appointment with your regular veterinarian.

We hope to see you on April 13th!
