Birthday Parties
Give the gift of kindness and compassion...celebrate your child's birthday at Nevins Farm! All proceeds from the birthday party fee go toward the cost of care for our animals awaiting adoption. The staff and animals appreciate your support!
Availability on select Saturdays from 1pm-3pm, and Sundays from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.
- Two-hour rental of Education Room
- An experienced volunteer to facilitate activities
- Includes a tour of the small animal adoption center
- Up to 15 children and unlimited adults (minimum of 1 adult per 7 children)
- Parties for children age 5-12
- Opportunity to name an animal available for adoption!
- Goodie bags for child guests (silicone bracelet, MSPCA pencil, finger puppet, MSPCA bookmark, and sticker)
- Animal game (Animal Care Kit game for kids age 5-8/ Scavenger Hunt for kids age 9-12)
- Chaperones may bring beverages, food, cake, paper goods, and decorations, and may arrive to set up 20 minutes early
- We can provide menus for local restaurants that deliver to the MSPCA
- Cost is $250 for 10-15 children, $225 for fewer than 10 children
- No pets from home, please
During the party, your facilitator(s) will first host the animal game and tour, which together last about 90 minutes. During the tour, guests will visit the rabbit, cat, and dog adoption areas and learn about the many animals we place for adoption. Weather and time permitting, your facilitator may take guests on a quick tour of the barn as well. During the tour, your facilitator will offer an opportunity for children to pet an animal available for adoption, most often a Guinea pig, rabbit, or cat. The last half-hour of the party can be spent having lunch, enjoying cake and ice cream, or opening gifts -- however families choose to spend that time.
