Welcome to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm's free lending library program. Thanks to a grant from the Center for Laboratory Animal Welfare (CLAW), we have been able to develop a collection of classroom dissection alternatives, classroom chick hatching alternatives, and other great videos and books about the humane integration of animals in education. These materials include books, models, videos, and software programs, and are available for two week periods of time to local educators wishing to add a humane education component to their classes or offer alternative projects to their students.
To learn more about the care and welfare of classroom pets, live animal study modifications and alternatives, and dissection choice, please visit our Animals in Education page.
If you would like to test out or borrow any of our materials, please contact the Humane Education Coordinator at (978) 687-7453 x 6108.
