Pit Bull Adoption

Celebrate National Pit Bull Awareness all month long!

In addition to Pit Bull Alumni stories posted on the web, our adoption centers will be hosting special activities during the weekend of October 27th & 28th.  Events at our Methuen adoption center are listed below.

Ava was adopted from the MSPCA at Nevins Farm on October 8, 2010

Saturday, October 27

12-4pm: "Meet & Greet" adopted Pit Bull ambassadors and their families, returning to the Adoption Center to visit!

2-4pm: guest appearance by "Lilly the Hero Pit Bull," who saved her owner's life earlier this year

1:30-3:30pm: “Agility Try-It’s” AND "NoseWork Try-Its" Let your pooch test her athletic skills on our agility course, and her keen sense of smell at our NoseWork area — social, friendly dogs only, please! 

1:30-3:30pm: “Canine Good Citizen” testing—the $25 fee is waived for Pit Bulls!  Please email humaneeducation@mspca.org if you'd like to register in advance, as space may be limited.
