Summary: This race will benefit the MSPCA and our programs to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty and work for a just and compassionate society.  It will also provide a fun race for you (and your dog!).

Course Description: The course is a fast, flat course starting at Artesani Park and running along the Charles River with no road crossings. See a course map here.

Dogs: This is a race you can do with your dog!  Please see the rules for running with your dog. Also, please make sure your dog is trained adequately. There are some tips on how to do that here from Runners World. Only one dog per runner. See a list of the dogs participating.

Parking: There is a large free parking lot at Artesani Park/Public Theatre. For directions, click here.

Sponsorships: We are seeking sponsorhips for this race; if you are interested please contact or see our sponsorship options.

Awards: Awards will be 3 deep in 7 age categories and there will also be awards for the top 3 dogs in each of the following categories: small, medium, large.

Teams: There is no specific team registration, but if you want to be recognized as a team, there is a field to fill in during registration. There will be a prize for the fastest team and team with the best t-shirts. We created a separate webpage recognizing teams.

Run Fur Fun Fundraising Program: Many runners will be raising money for the animals beyond the registration fee via the Run Fur Fun program.
