Take the CGC test with your Pit Bull through the MSPCA Dog Training Program and Earn Money for Homeless Animals!
The MSPCA at Nevins Farm has been granted this wonderful opportunity to promote responsible Pit Bull guardianship and the importance of training. Your successful participation with your Pit Bull helps the MSPCA earn much needed funding, enabling us to continue to offer dog training scholarships to families in need as well as contributing to our ongoing efforts to place the homeless Pit Bulls in our care.
- Dogs must be at least one year old.
- Dogs must be handled by their owners during the test.
- The Incentive Award is available for any dogs who appear to be Pit Bulls and their owners, not just those adopted from the participating shelter.
You can learn more about the AKC Canine Good Citizen® program by visiting their website here. Need some help getting your dog test-ready? Sign up for our CGC Prep class—and the test itself—by clicking here. Schedules are updated regularly and new classes are always being offered.
