Located within the Boston MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption center, the Shalit-Glazer Clinic serves the medical needs of homeless animals at the Adoption Center as well as offering low-cost one day Spay/Neuter and vaccination services to qualifying low-income pet owners in the Boston area. The clinic’s spay/neuter services are focused on cats, kittens, and pit bulls, as these animals have the highest rates of homelessness among animals in the Boston area. Discounted rates may also be offered to qualifying owners of breeds of dogs other than pit bulls though the SNAP program.
Pet owners who are receiving assistance from city, state, or federal programs are eligible.
If you have a dog who is not a pit bull type dog, please visit the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) wepbage here.
The generosity of MSPCA donors allows us to offer subsidized spay/neuter services to qualifying pet owners at the Shalit-Glazer Clinic.
