No problem! We can still help. Visit our main page to learn about other low cost programs!

Why we offer this program:
More than three-quarters of the animals entering area animal shelters are cats. In 2011, of the nearly 6,400 homeless animals served by MSPCA in Boston, more than 4,500 were cats. We must reduce the number of litters born to cats. This grant will help us assist those community members who want to neuter their cat but have no financial resources to do so.

Why these zip code?
Of the 100s of towns Boston MSPCA served in 2013, the highest number of kittens we received last year came from the towns of Dorchester and Roxbury. Our plan is to strategically reach cat owners whose cats are most likely to have kittens that end up homeless. And our statistics tell us to start in these zip code.
