Ann Marie Manning, DVM, DACVECC

Chief of Staff

Dr. Ann Marie Manning is the Chief of Staff at the Angell Animal Medical Center. She joined Angell in 1997 as an emergency and critical care veterinarian and was promoted to Chief Medical Officer in August, 2004 and Chief of Staff in 2008. Dr. Manning directs a veterinary staff of approximately 80 full-time doctors within 14 specialties and 100 technicians and nurses. She oversees all hospital programs and works closely with hospital staff, department directors and the referring community to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Dr. Manning oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to maximize clincial performance and maintain compliance with the American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Manning received her degree in veterinary medicine from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and became a diplomate of the American College of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine in 1997.
