Shannon Bakelman, Client Liaison

Shannon has been working for Angell as a Client Liaison since March of 2016. Originally from Rhode Island, she moved to Boston searching for new opportunities and was excited to be offered a position working alongside a wonderful staff and amazing pets! Growing up she always had animals in the house, from black labs and pugs to kittens and rabbits, so she enjoys coming in to work every day and seeing our office pets and patients – they truly brighten her day!  In her spare time, Shannon likes to relax and watch movies.

Ginny Castagno, Client Liaison

Virginia has been working as a Client Liaison at Angell since 2013.  She’s so happy to have found a place that allows her to use her customer service background to help animals!  In her free time she works in Community Theater, both onstage and backstage. She also loves to snuggle her two cats, Madeline Kahn, a sassy tortoiseshell, and Bernadette “Bernie” Peters, a grey and white tabby.

Loretta Connolly, Client Liaison

Loretta started working with Angell in April of 2016 as a Client Liaison. She has a BA in Psychology from UMass Amherst and a Masters of Health Administration from Regis College. When not at work, Loretta loves running, coloring and spending time with her one-eared pit bull named Roxie and two cats, Joey and Nala.

Stephanie Connolly, Client Liaison

Stephanie began her career with Angell in August of 2015, shortly after fulfilling her dream of moving from California to Boston.  She has a Shiba Inu named Causeway and likes to consider him the unofficial spokesdog of the Communication Center. Stephanie also has two wonderfully rambunctious cats, Gatsby and Guinness. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, running, and exploring Boston’s rich history.

Madeleine Gibson, Client Liaison

Madeleine has been working at Angell since 2015 when she accepted a position as Client Liaison. When she is not at work, Madeleine likes to read, draw, crochet, learn to play musical instruments and spend time with her fiancé and their two cats.

Tiffany Kan, Client Liaison

Tiffany graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism in 2010. She worked in retail for a few years and spent three years at a dog and cat boarding facility; this led her to join Angell in 2013 in her role as Client Liaison to continue her work with companion animals.  She lives in Boston with her husband and her Alaskan Malamute named Stryker. Outside of work, Tiffany likes to go to the movies, spend time with family and friends, and take Stryker on long walks.

Joe Lourenco, Client Liaison and Scheduling Coordinator

Joseph started at Angell in January of 2007 as a Client Liaison. Since then he has been a Supervisor for the Communications Center, the General Medicine Secretary, and now splits his time as both a Client Liaison and Angell’s Scheduling Coordinator.  Joe lives with his son Elwood, two dogs named Ruprecht Terwilliger and Oberon Blutarsky, two cats named Leonard Shumway and Betty Ford, and a coop full of chickens.  He enjoys being a dad, hiking and camping in VT, live music of almost any kind, and talking about politics.

Cathy Reid, Internal Medicine Liaison

Cathy joined Angell in November of 2010 as a Client Liaison and moved into her current role as the Internal Medicine Specialty Liaison in December of 2012. Cathy enjoys music, movies, and is a huge Boston sports fan, especially the Patriots and the Red Sox.

Sarah Rose, Client Liaison

Originally from California, Sarah moved to Massachusetts and began working at Angell in March of 2015.  She currently shares custody of her “foster fail” Chihuahua/Pomerian Foxy Brown.  In her free time, she likes to attend local music performances and volunteers with various community events in the JP area.

Eleanor Cousino, Referral Coordinator

Eleanor has been working for Angell as the Referral Coordinator since April of 2001. She has a cat named Chunky Butt and loves baking, crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles.
