Guided Tours – Boston Adoption Center

megs-class-outside

We offer guided tours to groups of various ages, from lower elementary students to senior citizens. Our staff and volunteers can tailor tours to meet the needs of individual groups.

What’s included in the tour?  Tour guides share information with visitors about the history of the Boston MSPCA, the programs offered on-site, as well as basic pet care tips, interesting animal facts, and suggestions for helping animals in our communities. Visitors will be guided through a number of adoption rooms and areas, viewing our available rabbits, cats and other small animals.

When are tours offered and how long do they last?  Hour long guided tours are available year round, but are subject to availability.

Is there a cost for the tour?  There is a $5 per person fee for our guided tours.  Because the MSPCA receives no state or federal funding, we depend on the generosity of our supporters to cover the cost of care for our animals.  Financial assistance is available.  Many groups also plan a donation drive prior to their tour to collect food and other needed items to give to the animals at the adoption center.  A copy of our Wish List is available here if your group would like to bring donations with them for the animals.

How Do I Schedule a Tour?

Please click the button below to submit an inquiry and someone will respond back to you. Please note, guided tours are available for groups of 5-15 individuals (including chaperones). Larger groups will need to be split into 2 separate tours or concurrent tours. Tour availability is limited and must be scheduled several weeks in advance. Please email bostonhumaneed@mspca.org with any specific questions.
