Join Us for an Open House Farm Animal Adoption Event
As the cold days settle in, are you dreaming of expanding your farm animal family just in time for the warmer days of spring? Now is the perfect opportunity to bring new friends into your fold!
Nevins Farm is home to many wonderful animals eagerly waiting to join their new families. On January 11th, we’re excited to offer a special opportunity: we’re waiving adoption fees for all chickens, fowl, goats, sheep, and pigs!
This is your chance to add a new member to your farm family and ensure they receive the love and care they deserve. You can view all of our available farm animals right here. Please inquire to learn more!

Register for Fee-Waived Farm Animal Adoptathon
After you RSVP:
- Review our How to Adopt page so you know what to expect.
- Visit our Pet Search page to see some of the goats available!
- Bring a photo of the housing where you plan to keep your adopted goats.
- Same Day Adoptions: We would love to be able to send farm animals home with adopters during the event. Please note that we are restricted in same day adoptions for adopters outside of Massachusetts as the animals require an OCVI before travel. For out of state adopters, we will arrange a later pick-up date if you find a match.
- Transportation Home: If you are hoping to bring goats home during the event, they will need to travel either in a horse/livestock trailer or in a secure manner in the interior of your vehicle. We do not allow goats to travel in the bed of a truck, even if crates.
- There is no cost to RSVP for the event. Your RSVP secures you a spot on your selected day, however we cannot guarantee that your preferred animal will be available. We will do our best to help you find the right match!
- Please be prepared for a wait – we anticipate a lot of interest in the available animals, so there may be a wait period at various points during your visit. Expect to spend from 1-2 hours during your visit
