DESCRIPTION:Our team at Nevins Farm has been caring for hundreds of farm animals over the last several months\, and we’re excited to share that many of them are finally getting closer to finding homes. \nJoin us for our Come Say Hay Open House on June 13 & 14 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Methuen! \nYou’ll have the chance to meet some of the animals\, chat with our farm animal experts\, learn about adoption\, and help us start making matches for chickens\, ducks\, goats\, cows\, horses\, pigs\, zebus\, and more. \nMany of these animals came to us through law enforcement cases and have spent months receiving medical care and rehabilitation while their cases moved through the courts. Now that we’re able to begin the adoption process\, we’re looking for thoughtful adopters who can give them the next chapter they deserve. \nPlease note: animals will not be going home during the event\, but this is a great opportunity to meet them and start the adoption process. \nNo RSVP is required. SUMMARY:Fee-Waived Adoption for Adult Cats
DESCRIPTION:Due to a very high number of cats in our care\, we will be waiving adoption fees for all adult cats at all four MSPCA-Angell adoption center for one day only on Friday\, July 17th. \n  \nHOW TO ADOPT \nPlease come into the shelter during open hours\, which are listed below. You do not need an appointment or pre-application to come in for cats. You are welcome to enter our cat rooms and browse\, but please do not open any kennels or stick fingers in without staff or volunteer assistance. We are so happy you are interested in adopting and kindly request you be patient during what we anticipate will be a busy day. \nBelow is the veterinary care each cat receives in our care\, at a minimum: \n\nSpay or Neuter Surgery\nFVRCP Vaccine\nRabies Vaccination (for cats 12 weeks and older)\nInitial General Deworming\nFeLV Test\nMicrochip & Registration\nFlea Treatment or Preventive\nInitial treatment for Ear Mites as Needed\n\nYou can purchase a cat carrier\, collar and ID tag at the Adoption Center or you can bring one with you. \nMSPCA-Cape Cod: 1577 Falmouth Road\, Centerville\, MA.  Open from 1pm–4pm Friday. \nMSPCA-Boston: 350 South Huntington Avenue in Jamaica Plain (Boston). Open from 12pm–4pm Friday. \nMSPCA at Nevins Farm: 400 Broadway\, Methuen\, MA. Open from 12pm–4:30pm Friday. \nNortheast Animal Shelter: 347 Highland Avenue\, Salem\, MA. Open 11:30am–5pm Friday. \n  \nView all currently available cats at mspca.org/adoption. Please note that while our website does reflect who is currently available in our system\, there is no way to mark if an animal is currently meeting prospective adopters so it is possible during a busy day to see an animal on the website and by the time you get here they are spoken for.
