Got community cats in your yard? Come learn how to build winter housing or feeding stations and make the colder months easier on them.
We’ll walk you through the build at the MSPCA at Nevins Farm on Sunday, September 30th in an instructor-led workshop. Workshop attendees will be supplied with building materials (though participants should bring their own tools) and guided through the build from start to finish. Attendees are then welcome to take their winter housing or feeding stations back to their community for use or are invited to donate it to Nevins Farm to be distributed to local altered/vaccinated colonies in need.
Registrations will be $20 per structure and folks are welcome to attend with a friend. Children are also welcome, but minors under the age of 16 will need a parent or guardian attend alongside them. We will supply the building materials but this is a BYOT (bring your own tools) event. Guests should bring along a utility knife, caulk gun and a yard stick (for housing) and a hammer and screw driver (for feeding station).
Advance registration is required and will be limited, so register early!
