More About Me:
There was a person with allergies in my previous household, so I’m here at the shelter looking for my forever home. I’m a nice, quiet, easy-going, laid-back guy once I settle in and I get to know my people. I have good history with kids, and I would prefer to be the one-and-only pet in my new home. I would do best in a low-traffic, quiet, consistent household. I bond with my family, but will probably hide when visitors come over. I’m very happy sitting with my peeps and receiving head pets, but I’m not crazy about being picked up. I am an indoor/outdoor guy … I like to chase mice and chipmunks and lie in the sun on the deck, but I could adjust to living inside only if you promise me a window in the sun for naps. I will need a slow introduction to my new home while I settle into my new environment.
In my room at the shelter I enjoy being pet and I LOVE to play. I am high energy so be sure you have some time to play each day. I love a string as well as laser chasing! My best match would be with a person or family that enjoys a tolerant yet energetic and playful kitty. Come visit me and see what I mean.
Are you ready to adopt? I like wand toys … do you promise to play with me? If you’re looking for a quiet, easy-going mature gentlemen, give staff a call and let them know you have the perfect retirement home for me!
