More about Holly:

I am a couch potato and I enjoy being spoiled with pets. I am not a huge player, but perhaps a wand toy or cat nip could get me up and interested in playing! I am social and sweet with my people once I warm up.

I have had a hard time with transitions. It took me quite a while here at the shelter to come out of my shell. My adopter should expect me to take a fair amount of time to settle into my new home. It is recommended that I start in one room for at least a week so I can get comfortable in my new surroundings before providing me with more access to the home.

My adopter will need to provide me with a slow introduction to my litter box and provide multiple options throughout the house to figure out my preferences. My adopter should be prepared to scoop frequently, and understand that there is a chance I might have accidents while I adjust. Since I have settled in here at the shelter, I have shown good litter box manners.

I am a senior lady with a handful of medical conditions that will need management and a close relationship with a vet once I go home. My medical records will be available to potential adopters.
