Meet Eliot
Eliot is a 10 month old, gentle bunny. He can be a bit shy at first, but with time and patience, he can blossom into a confident pet. Here at the shelter, we are already seeing great progress; he comes out of his bed to greet you when you pass by. Eliot is also litterbox trained! He would do best in a home with older, rabbit-experienced children who can understand rabbit body language and help him come out of his shell. Bunnies are very social animals! They love to be around their people friends and get tons of love and attention. Bunnies do not like being held. However, they love it when you sit on the floor with and get down to their level for pets. These bunnies love their greens and love to run around and explore. All of the bunnies adopted from the MSPCA are spayed/neutered before going home. The average life expectancy of a rabbit is 7-10 years, so you will have lots of time to give this guy some love. Rabbits are very social animals so they need lots of attention just like a cat or dog! Adoption fee: $85
We recommend providing a safe indoor enclosure that allows a rabbit to stretch their legs and move around. The needs of each rabbit are unique and if you have questions about the right type of enclosure for the rabbit you are interested in, please let us know in your inquiry! We are happy to provide guidance and advice
