Meet Dean

Meet Dean! Dean is a 1 year old male rabbit who came to us from a large surrender case of rabbits. He's a little shy with pets but comes up to greet you when you walk in the room. When given time outside of his x-pen, he's very curious and loves to explore.

Rabbits are very social animals so they need lots of attention just like a cat or dog! The average life expectancy is 7-10 years. It is important that they have a safe enclosure as well as time exercise time to roam around. Since bunnies spend a lot of their day in their enclosure, we require them to be a minimum of 12 square feet, and have a top.

If you are interested in adoption Dean, please send a picture of your bunny enclosure and it's dimensions to cape@mspca.org. In your email, please tell us about your household and if you've owned a rabbit before.

Rabbit Adoption fee: $85
We adopt out our rabbits to live indoors only! We recommend bunnies go home to live in x-pens, so they're able to stretch their legs and move about when their people aren't home. If you have questions about the right type of enclosure, please let us know in your inquiry!
