Meet Luna

Luna
3 Years Old
Pitbull
~60 pounds

Prepare to snuggle with the velvet hippo! Luna is the sweetest, 3-year-old Pit Bull that you'll ever meet. She is looking for an owner that can advocate for her when she is in new situations and meeting strangers, since she is a little shy with new people. Luna is heartworm positive, so during her 4 month treatment, she needs restricted exercise and continuous monitoring. She will need to keep her mind busy with lots of puzzles, snuggles, and low-activity training while her body fights off these invaders. Luna can be a bit possessive over her things, so she would do best in a home without young kids or other pets. Once she can resume a normal activity level, she would love to have dog friends though!
