Meet Hermes

Hermès is a very happy, friendly boy that thinks he should definitely plunk in your lap. Up until recently, this handsome guy had spent his entire 2 years confined outside, with a group of other dogs. Considering his world has expanded, from tiny and lonely to traveling and then meeting lots of new people, Hermès has handled it like a champ. His adopters should plan on continuing to help him feel confident as he slowly encounters more and more new things . He, of course, has not had the opportunity to live in a home, which means he will need help learning all about good house manners. He has done surprisingly well with regular potty breaks outside and will need a consistent schedule to perfect his house training. Hermès is the epitome of a chatty hound, he bays, barks and howls, so a single family home is a must and a family who has a sense of humor about his talkative side, will be needed. He can potentially live with another dog, if adopters are willing to provide a well managed environment for meals and treats. This is due to his past of not knowing when or if a meal or water would appear. A cat would definitely find this good boy just too much, so a feline free home is needed. Older, sturdy kids that can consistently follow directions for food management, will be fine. If you love hounds and think you can give this boy the home he so dearly deserves, please fill out the adoption inquiry form provided in the link below.
