More about Violet:
I am a sweet and social lady! I am very loving and friendly, and a favorite of all who meet me. I am here at the shelter looking for an adopter who will take me to my forever home filled with love and caring.
I came from an overcrowded home with lots of other cats, many with upper respiratory infections. It may be a chronic condition that may need to be managed with a vet if there are any flair-ups in the future. Potential adopters should be aware of the risks and management of URIs, especially if they have existing cats in their home. I should not be adopted into a home with kittens or immunocompromised cats.
It is recommended that my adopter provide a slow introduction to my new home, litter box and any existing pets while I settle in and become comfortable in my new surroundings. Going slow is the road to success when introducing a cat to a new environment.
