More about Neeva:

I am a beautiful, playful cat, and I am a lovely companion to my people.

I previously lived with other cats and there was fighting, and when we fought, it caused stress and subsequently inappropriate urination. I am so glad I have an opportunity to find an adopter with a stable, low-traffic household where I can be the only pet which will help reduce my stress.

I will need a slow introduction to my new home and litter box while I settle in and become comfortable in my new surroundings. I should start in one room until I am using the litter box 100% of the time. Then I can be given gradual access to the rest of the home as I settle in. Going slow is the road to success when introducing a cat to a new environment. I have shown excellent litter box manners here at the shelter. I do have crystals in my urine and I am on a prescription diet. My adopter will need to work closely with their vet to maintain my current health. I have been on fluoxetine to help with stress and litter box issues (and it is working!). My new vet can determine if this medication is needed once I have relaxed into my new home.

If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, please click on the blue Inquire link above and fill out the form, or submit an inquiry at mspca.org/nevinsadopt
