Meet Trudi

Meet Trudi! This spunky girl came to us from a shelter in South Carolina, so we don’t know much about her history. When she first came to us she was using a wheelchair, but has made tremendous progress and is walking on her own! Trudi likely had some sort of spinal injury and has slowly but surely regained her mobility and is able to go for walks, chase balls and even attempt to play with other dogs! She is well on the road to recovery and we hope to see even more improvement with continued physical therapy. Trudi will need an adopter committed to continuing her rehabilitation and training.

Trudi is happy and fun dog who loves everyone she meets and is more than happy to use you as a resting spot to give you a good angle for petting her. She will happy climb into any lap within sitting distance and try and give you lots of kisses. We think she could do well with older children who can participate in her training and could live with another savvy dog with proper introductions. One of her favorite activities is try to chase small animals, so we would not recommend she live with cats. If you’re interested in Trudi, fill out an inquiry today!
