I am a very friendly guy, and affectionate with people that I know. If you are looking for a lap cat, quiet and mellow, you have found the perfect fellow!!

It takes me time to settle in and warm up to people. I have long hair which is prone to matting, and I will need regular brushing and grooming.

I have had litter box issues for the last six months, which started in response to being confined to a small room with two other cats and only one litter box that was not cleaned regularly. Because this has become a habit, adopters will need to go very slowly with my introduction to my new home and litter box in order to set me up for success.

I should start off in a small room, such a bathroom, that is easily cleaned, with minimal hiding places and more than one littlerbox option with different litters to determine my preference. I should stay confined in that room until I am reliably using the litter box.
Once I am allowed access to more space, I will need additional litter boxes that are still easy for me to access.

The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 3:00pm, with no appointment needed to visit adoptable cats.
