I am a very loving guy with my person. I love to play chase with my owner, or play with balls, feathers, and soft fluffy things! Actually, I prefer playing with golf balls just call me Arnold!

I will need a slow intro to my new home, litter box, and any existing pets while I settle in and become comfortable in my new surroundings. I have been in foster care, and I have done very well adjusting and meeting new people, but I have a history of being skittish in a loud, busy environment.

I have chronic asthma that my adopter will need to be prepared to manage with their veterinarian. In foster we have been able to wean him off of steroids, but he will need a daily inhaler for the foreseeable future. Asthma in cats can be easily managed, but my adopter should be prepared for the financial commitment as well as comfortable monitoring for flare ups that might need urgent vet care. I have a daily maintenance inhaler as well as a rescue one in the event of a flare up. Think similar to humans with asthma!

I will need a managed home environment to help with my asthma. Consider minimizing irritants that could bother my lungs. No smoking, no smoky fireplaces, and dust needs to be kept to a minimum: as well I might benefit from an air purifier

The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 3:00 pm, with no appointment needed to meet available cats. I am at the shelter and I look forward to meeting potential adopters!
