This shy guy goes by the name of Bashful, and bashful he is! Bashful came into the shelter as a stray, so we do not know anything about his past. What we have noticed during his time at the shelter is that he likely has not had much experience with humans. This scared little man will need a calm, peaceful environment to settle into while he learns that the world is not actually so scary, and that neither are humans! With patience and a lot of TLC, this dashing little fella will make a lovely little furry family member! From the behavior we have seen in the shelter, Bashful would likely benefit from going home to an older, social and confident guinea pig brother to help teach him all the great things about being a pampered guinea pig! If you think you can offer Bashful a safe place to explore the world and experience the good things in life, come in during open hours to meet this sweet and sensitive boy!

*Before coming to the adoption center, we ask that you have a housing unit ready, in case you end up finding an animal youd like to adopt. Guinea pigs need a minimum 6.5 sqft wire cage (3036) for 1-2 guinea pigs but preferably 10.5 sqft (3050) for 2 guinea pigs and a minimum 8 sqft for 3 guinea pigs but preferably 13 sqft (3062). Cages must have a solid bottom and more room is always encouraged!
