Don’t be spooked by his name, Boo is a sweet and chatty little guy with more charm than a catnip factory!
This kitty is on a low-carb diet and is on medication to help manage his diabetes (staff can tell you more!). He loves head scratches and soft beds to snuggle up on, so he’s looking for adopters that are ready to help him live out his best life as a couch potato! Boo is full of love and a pinch of sass, so he would like to be your one and only pet, please!

Meet Rattle, a kitten on the hunt for his new home! Rattle lived in a bubble in his previous home, where he was living successfully with other cats but not getting a lot of socialization with people. Because of this, he would love to go home with adopters that are ready to meet him where he’s at, and let him set the pace of how quickly he adjusts! He might like to go home with another cat who wants an annoying younger sibling to be a role model to.

Meet Red! This sensitive and shy 8 year old cat came to us on a transport, so we are still getting to know him. Red is worried and sweet, and has been through a lot of big transitions recently, so he’s looking for a lower-traffic home so that he can settle in and build confidence at his own pace.
Red is what we might call a spirit cat, and if you adopt him, you probably wouldn’t even notice he’s in your house at first, if not for the mysterious overnight disappearance of cat food.
We often can’t predict how a spirit cat will be after they settle in – some become comfortable around their family and choose to spend time with them by sharing the same space or allowing some petting, while others continue to prefer to hide when there’s any commotion. Spirit cats generally prefer to spend their time around other cats and make an excellent kitty friend to a cat already in the home. Our staff can help prepare adopters to welcome a spirit cat into a quiet home, but patience and understanding will go a long way with Red.
Red is enjoying his time in an office away from the main adoption area, so ask the staff about him when you get here!
Stop by our Cape Cod Adoption Center to meet Red. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 1pm-4pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.

She’s looking forward to finding her new home – a place where she can chillax and hang with her new bestie – you!
Stop by our Boston Adoption Center to meet Olenna. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm - 3pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.

Meet Sandy! This mellow tabby gal has been waiting patiently at the shelter for her perfect adopter to come along.
Sandy is worried, and sweet, so were taking it slow as we get to know her and allowing her to build up confidence at her own pace. Sandy is looking for a patient adopter who can let her adjust to a new home.
Sandy has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), so we are recommending that they go to a home without other cats, or with other cats with FeLV. Staff would be happy to chat with you more about Sandy`s FeLV status.
If you think Sandy could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday – Sunday from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.

Meet Dibu! This handsome, social boy has been waiting patiently at the shelter for his perfect adopter to come along.
Dibu is a little bit on the spicy side of life! Dibu would do best with an adopter who is not phased by a little pizazz, is willing to learn to read cat body language, and can give him time to adjust to a new home.
We are placing Dibu as a working cat due to behaviors he`s exhibited that lead us to believe he will be unable to live fully indoors. Adopters are responsible for providing working cats with adequate shelter, food, eater, and veterinary care. In exchange for providing the essentials of food, water, medical care, and shelter, your working cat will earn its keep by offering hunting skills and companionship.
Stop by and see if Dibu would be a good match for your family!
