Bringing pets and people together—for life.
Advocate for animals, volunteer, or get help for your pet with our compassionate community services.
At the core of the MSPCA is the belief that families and pets belong together. While our adoption programs work to bring people and pets together, our Community Outreach programs work to keep families and pets together.
We strive to achieve this goal by offering affordable and accessible animal care resources to families who need them.
We are focused on being a resource to our community. We are working with local food pantries to supply pet food and helping to provide additional support to families with pets. If you are in need of assistance with your pet, please email outreach@mspca.org.
Our outreach efforts are focused on the communities listed below:

For horse owners who may be going through a temporary period of financial insecurity or a family crisis, the MSPCA’s Emergency Equine Relief Fund acts as a safety net. The program takes a proactive approach to equine welfare, working to keep horses and people together.
The MSPCA Emergency Equine Relief Fund serves as a resource for those who need short term help feeding or caring for their horses. The fund can also assist owners who are facing end of life care for their horses and need assistance with humane euthanasia.
The fund also provides support for horses and farm animals currently being cared for by Nevins Farm. Some may need routine vaccines, surgery or shoeing, while others may be suffering from serious injury or disease, or in need of lengthy rehabilitation to restore their health, dignity and grace.
Our reports include detailed information including statistics and stories of some of the families we have helped through our program.
