The Education Department at MSPCA Boston offers a variety of programs and services to inspire awareness and compassion for all living things. All of the education programs offered are geared towards embracing children’s natural love and curiosity about animals while fostering a sense of respect and kindness for all life. Shelter tours provide an overview of the humane society and a peek behind the scenes. Programs on dog bite prevention, pet care, animal welfare issues and the workings of a humane society are offered. We also offer a story time for our youngest visitors, a youth night, and a poster competition. We work with a variety of groups and organizations to educate members in the Boston community of all ages about MSPCA, general animal care, and many other topics.
