Heroes at Hillside
Honoring Canine Veterans of the United States
Throughout our nation’s history, dogs have served heroically in all branches of the military, as sentries and scouts, detecting ambush sites and bombs, and even parachuting into combat with their handlers.  In recognition of their bravery, the MSPCA's Hillside Acre Animal Cemetery will provide a free private cremation for any dog that has served in the military, whether adopted post-military or killed in action. Hillside Acre also offers the option of burial in the cemetery's designated War Dog section, next to the MSPCA's War Dog Memorial honoring all those who have served our country. Each burial site is marked with an individual headstone inscribed with the name of the War Dog, thanks to the generosity of Colizzi Memorials of Methuen.

Celebrate Mother’s Day By Helping Other Mothers In Need!
(Cat mothers, that is…)
Over 25% of our adoptable cats receive life-saving care through our Foster Homes each year.  Help us continue this effort to save more lives by making a donation in honor of your mother and donating much-needed kitten supplies to our annual Kitten Shower!  Choose items from our Wishlist and drop them at the Noble Family Adoption Center, or order directly from Amazon.com and have items shipped to our Foster team.  Or, if you prefer, you can make a financial contribution to help us cover some of our Foster Program costs:
$25 provides a Snuggle-Safe Heat Disc to keep a kitten warm
$50 helps us equip a new foster home for a litter of kittens
$75 helps us afford a spay or neuter surgery for a kitten
$200 helps us cover the costs of a newborn kitten in foster care for 8 weeks
