Walk for Animals!
Saturday, September 26th 11am-2pm at MSPCA at Nevins Farm
Join us for our 7th annual Walk for Animals! With contests & prizes, food & music, kids’ activities, canine demonstrations and other animal antics, there is something for everyone at the Walk! This year there are more animals than ever before who need our help, and we’re not going to let them down.
Form a team, walk with your family & friends, and help us raise money to help animals. Get creative, get a little crazy, but most of all get going! If you start now you have the best chance to help the most animals. Encourage your fellow animal lovers to do the same. Or urge them to support the cause by becoming one of your sponsors. And if you can’t join us on the 26th, you can still be a virtual walker!

Bring Shelley Home! Win a 3’ American Dog Sculpture!
Back By Popular Demand! Raffle tickets available through July 25th
Last year’s American Dog Sculpture raffle was such a success that we’ve brought it back by popular demand for a second year. Here’s your second chance to win an iconic piece of New England art, created by the very talented Dale Rogers – and help shelter animals at the same time! 100% of the funds raised will benefit our Angels for Animals fund, which helps heal animals awaiting adoptive homes.
This lovely 3’ sculpture could be yours with the purchase of a $10 raffle ticket, available here at Nevins Farm’s Noble Family Adoption Center, at Shawsheen Village Liquors or wherever Shelley is visiting between now and July 25th. On that date, we’ll announce the lucky winner at our Tails & Ales craft beer event. Currently on display at Shawsheen Village Liquors, Shelley’s upcoming tour locations will be announced here as she makes her rounds!
Who is Shelley? She’s an example of the spirit of all shelter dogs. Learn more about her and how she came to be by clicking here.

Sell Lemonade, Help Horses!
Thunder's Lemonade Stand Opens for the Season
Warm Weather = Lemonade! That means it’s the start of Thunder’s Lemonade Stand at the MSPCA, and the opportunity for kids of all ages to help horses and farm animals who come to Nevins Farm needing extra medical care! Named in honor of our former resident Thunder the steer, the lemonade stand is available for kids to host any Saturday or Sunday from 12-4pm right here at Nevins. Book the stand, whip up a few batches of lemonade, and bring along some cups. Sell lemonade, and donate the money you raise to our medical fund. Afterwards, you’ll get a special introduction to one of our farm animals awaiting adoption.
