As part of our mission to keep pets healthy and in their homes, the MSPCA-Angell provides several spay/neuter programs throughout Massachusetts. The MSPCA-Angell subsidizes many low-cost options for those who qualify. For those who don’t qualify, the MSPCA-Angell offers competitively priced spay/neuter services in Boston, Waltham, Danvers and Centreville. Find the program nearest to you here!

South Shore and Cape Cod

The MSPCA-Angell Clinic Cape Cod: Located in Centerville, this clinic offers spay/neuter services to dogs and cats. There are subsidized, low-cost options for clients who qualify. Unsubsidized appointments also are available to the general public for those who don’t qualify for low-cost options. Please read more below to see if you are eligible for subsidized pricing prior to your visit.

Services Available to Brockton Residents: While we do not have a clinic located in Brockton, we recognize the need for spay/neuter resources in this area. We have programs at nearby locations to support low-cost spay/neuter access to eligible clients. Please find more information below to see if you qualify for these pricing options prior to your pet’s procedure.

North of Boston

The MSPCA-Angell Clinic at Nevins Farm: Located in Methuen, this clinic offers low-cost spay/neuter surgeries to dogs and cats of low-income Merrimack Valley residents. Please read more below to see if you are eligible for these pricing options before your appointment.

Angell at Essex: Located in Danvers, Angell at Essex provides competitively priced spay/neuter services to the general public. Please note that we currently do not offer subsidized low-cost options to new clients at this location.

Lynn Community Outreach Program: Available only to residents of Lynn, this program offers low-cost spay/neuter services for qualifying clients. Please read more below to confirm that you are eligible for this pricing prior to having your pet spayed or neutered.

Metro Boston

The Larson Kelly Community Clinic in Boston: This clinic offers low-cost spay/neuter services to dogs and cats of low-income residents in the Greater Boston area. Please read more below to see if you qualify prior to your appointment.

Angell Animal Medical Center; In addition to 14 specialty services, Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston offers a primary care and wellness program, including spay-neuter surgery. Though competitively priced, please note that we currently do not offer subsidized, low-cost options at this location.

MSPCA-Angell West: In addition to urgent care and specialty services, MSPCA-Angell West offers a primary care and wellness program, including spay-neuter surgery. Though competitively priced, please note that we currently do not offer subsidized, low-cost options at this location.

Other Massachusetts Spay/Neuter Programs

The Massachusetts Animal Coalition has put together a listing for low cost spay/neuter options by county.

Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (MRFRS) offers affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccines to the cats of Merrimack Valley families in need of financial assistance through its “CatMobile” program.

Animal Rescue League Spay Waggin’ makes monthly scheduled stops throughout the South Shore and Cape Cod to perform surgeries on an appointment-only basis.

Dakin Humane Society, through its Community Spay/Neuter Clinic, provides accessible surgery to those who do not have access to other options in Springfield.

Second Chance Animal Services provides affordable spay/neuter services through its S.P.O.T program at its North Brookfield, Southbridge, Springfield, and Worcester locations.
