Pet Insurance

Protect Your Pet with Health Insurance

Accidents happen, and emergencies arise. And they can get expensive.
Pets are family, so we want the best for them. Angell knows how costly pet care can be and how difficult it can be to balance their needs with your family’s budget.

An essential part of pet ownership is pet insurance. It protects your family from unexpected costs. By choosing the right policy/plan, expenses will be far less of a factor when determining a course of treatment.

Which pet insurance is best? Or the best for your pet? Angell knows choosing the right pet insurance provider can be challenging. We can help you make informed decisions about getting pet insurance that fits your and your pet’s needs.

The costs of caring for a pet

  • One out of three pets requires emergency veterinary care every year.
  • Pet emergency bills average between $800 and $1500
  • Every six seconds, a pet owner gets a $1,000 vet bill

Annual Routine (Wellness) Veterinary Costs
For Dogs: $1,391
For Cats: $1,491

Some common dog emergencies and their average price range
Bloat: $1,500–$7,500
Intestinal blockage: $800–$7,000
Poisoning: $200–$5,000

Some common cat emergencies and their average price range
Urinary tract blockage: $700–$4,000
Intestinal blockage: $800–$7,000
Poisoning: $200–$2,000

Pet insurance policies do not cover pre-existing conditions. Don’t wait until coverage is needed to get pet insurance. The longer you wait to enroll, the more likely it is that your pet will develop an issue that would then not be covered. Be proactive now so you won’t have to make budget decisions when the big decisions come down the road.

The best time to get your pet insured is right after your pet joins your family!
