Adopt a Bird Month

January is Adopt a Bird Month! Did you know that the MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Centers take in and rehome pet birds? From parakeets and doves to cockatiels and macaws, there are hundreds of birds in need of forever homes surrendered to the MSPCA each year. All month long, interested bird lovers will be treated to a host of wonderful resources that will help improve the health and life of your feathered friend.

Pot Bellied Pig Spay-Neuter

In the month of February, the MSPCA at Nevins Farm is able to offer affordable spay-neuter surgeries for pot-bellied pigs owned by families who are in need of financial assistance. The cost of the spay-neuter surgery package is $100. Pigs must be under 5 years of age to qualify. Learn more at www.mspca.org/spay

Spin for Animals

Do you have a New Year’s fitness resolution, but need a motivator? How about the nearly 7,000 animals that we care for every year?

Join us on Saturday, March 18th for the 14th annual Spin for Animals. This year’s event will take place at TWO locations; Cycle Fierce (lead by Jenna George) in Portsmouth, NH and also at the brand new Flow Fitness (lead by Charlene Morin) in Lawrence, MA! Ride for 1, 2. 3 or 4 classes* and raise funds to help us care for our animals. Can’t make that date? No worries! Register as a virtual rider and you can spin at your own gym on your own time and still raise funds for the animals.
