The MSPCA-Angell’s Emergency and Critical Care service is staffed by highly trained veterinarians, who are available 24/7 to treat pets with life-threatening trauma and disease. The Critical Care Unit (CCU) is equipped for advanced monitoring, support, and treatment capabilities — such as blood component therapy, peritoneal dialysis, and ventilator therapy — to provide the best possible care for critical patients.
