Little Bookworms Story Time invites our community’s youngest animal lovers and their adult counterparts to join us each week as we read stories, sing songs and play games, all with an animal theme. We are joined by one adoptable animal each session and are happy to answer questions about animal care.
- Takes place every Tuesday 10-11am in the Education Room at the MSPCA Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center (see below for directions to the Education Room).
- Doors open at 9:45am; arrivals after 10:15am will not be able to participate.
- Advanced registration is not required.
- There is a fee of $5 per child (cash only, please). This fee helps support the animals and programs at the MSPCA.
- Any participant demonstrating signs of illness will not be allowed to participate.
Getting to Story Time
Story Time takes place in the Education Room at the MSPCA Boston Adoption Center at 350 S. Huntington Avenue in Jamaica Plain. The Education Room has its own entrance on the far side of the MSPCA building. To get to the entrance, follow the signs to the back of the building for the hospital and adoption center entrances. Go past the doors for the hospital and adoption center and take a left at the end of the parking lot. You will see a set of gray stairs and railing leading up to the Education Room entrance. DO NOT ENTER THE HOSPITAL (SOUTH ENTRANCE) OR ADOPTION CENTER (NORTH ENTRANCE).
