Externships for Veterinary Technology Students

The MSPCA-Angell offers externship rotations to interested veterinary technology students. A wide variety of rotations are available to externs:  Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging, General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, and Surgery. Externships may involve observation only or may incorporate hands-on experience. Externs will work closely with team members to complete daily tasks.

The externship program offers an excellent opportunity for veterinary technology students who wish to observe a busy, urban, referral specialty practice. The program also offers the opportunity for those interested in pursuing employment at Angell to view the hospital first-hand and speak with our team.

Please note: Externship opportunities at the MSPCA-Angell (Boston and West) are open only to veterinary and co-op students. We do not accept high school students for externships at this time.
