Angell Animal Medical Center – Boston
Compassionate and Collaborative Veterinary Care
The number one priority of Angell’s board-certified specialists, certified veterinary technicians, and dedicated support staff is treating patients with the one-on-one care and compassion that each pet deserves.
Our deeply experienced doctors have pioneered new surgical techniques, and helped to transform veterinary medicine. This depth of medical knowledge is paramount in the care we provide, but so are the “goodnight” texts we send to our clients with photos of their pets settling in for the night, and the behind-the-scenes snuggles our team share with patients when they need extra TLC. Angell is special not just for our hundred year history, but for our forward-thinking approach to veterinary medicine. Central to our approach is our partnership with you, your primary care veterinarian and our team of specialists to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care.

One of Angell’s most important goals is to serve as a resource for the veterinary profession. Review our current schedule of continuing education programs to help keep you abreast of new treatment options. Many of our programs are complimentary for veterinarians and technicians.
Our goal is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in our patients. For this reason, many Angell team members have been formally trained in fear-free techniques. We work hard to provide the best care to our patients and are committed to looking after our patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
Our highly trained Angell staff is on the front lines every day, saving lives and preventing illness, but it’s your ongoing support that makes their work possible. If you would like to play an important role in Angell’s next century of excellence, please consider a generous gift to our Campaign.
Can love and comforting touch help an animal heal faster? We think so. Angell’s Comfort Care Program follows the example of human hospitals’ neonatal units and uses the power of TLC to supplement medical technology.
You may pick up your pet’s filled medications from the main desk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – even when the pharmacy is closed! We recommend calling ahead to confirm your order is ready when picking up after hours. Please note, it may take up to 24 hours to process your refill request, and specially compounded medications take 48 hours for preparation.
