This initiative aims to modernize facilities crucial to supporting over 140 veterinarians managing 103,000 cases annually. The current lab can no longer support our growth of recent expansions like the Emergency Critical Care Unit and Community Clinics. Having a state-of-the-art laboratory with these capabilities on-site is uncommon and will improve patient care outcomes and provide faster turnaround time, serving as a pivotal asset in our efforts to attract top talent and deliver the most advanced veterinary care available.
Cutting edge equipment will more rapidly and accurately analyze samples, allowing clients and vets to receive some results in hours instead of days.
The expanded blood bank will ensure resources are ethically sourced and available for our patients in emergencies.
On-site testing allows our staff to collaborate more quickly to provide the best care for your pets.
Helps us attract the best veterinarians, ensuring your pets receive the most advanced care possible.
Initial planning and budgeting for the renovation project began in early 2022. Last year we selected an external project manager and an architectural firm. Once permitting is complete, construction will begin. We look forward to celebrating the opening of theAngell's new clinical laboratory in May 2025.
