Meet Henny

Henny is a sweet, affectionate older girl who absolutely loves her people and will happily lean in for all the pets and rubs you’re willing to give her. She also has a charming grin that shows off her goofy, endearing personality once she feels comfortable.

With a peaceful routine, clear structure, and plenty of love from her people, Henny has all the potential to be a deeply loyal and affectionate companion who thrives in a home where she can finally just be herself.

Since Henny prefers the company of human friends to canine friends, she would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Henny. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am-5pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.

Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
