Meet Tuppence
Tuppence is a quirky, charming girl with a wonderfully silly personality.
She especially enjoys social time with other dogs, especially once she’s had a chance to warm up and feel comfortable. With a slow introduction, she can be bouncy, playful, and delightfully loose in her interactions.
Tuppence can be fearful of new environments and will need a patient adopter who is willing to keep her world small at first, helping her gradually build confidence in both the home and the outside world. A structured setup with safe spaces and thoughtful management will be key as she adjusts.
With time, reassurance, and a calm, understanding home, Tuppence has all the makings of a truly special companion who blossoms into a fun, affectionate, and uniquely endearing best friend.
Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Tuppence. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am-5pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
