Calling all heroes!
We’d like to introduce a very special cat named Hazelett. She is a five year old playful cat that loves getting pet, playing with toys, and has a case of FeLV, or Feline Leukemia Virus which may shorten her lifespan, and we are hoping to find her a loving indoor-only home where she can live out her life. Despite her diagnosis, she is a social and affectionate cat with humans! Hazelett would need to be the only cat in the household, or have feline friends that also have FeLV. Interested adopters should click the inquire button below to learn more and shelter staff will provide additional counseling on FeLV and answer any questions at the time of adoption.
More info on FeLV can be found here: https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951934
Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Hazelett-Felv+. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30am-5pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
