Ritter is quite the hit(ter)! This sweet lovebug came to us with a severe ear infection in both of his ears. As a result, one of his ear canals was removed and has lost its hearing. Ritter will need dietary restrictions to manage his allergies and potential adopters should give him plenty of time and space to slowly acclimate to his surroundings. With that said he has shown his friends at the shelter that he is quite the snuggler when he gets comfortable.
Stop by our Boston Adoption Center to meet Ritter. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-4pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Visit www.mspca.org/petresources to learn how to prepare for a successful first few weeks at home with a your adopted pet!
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
Your gift now will help us provide the love, care and support animals like Ritter need while waiting for a loving family. You can also send words of encouragement for Ritter, that we may read out loud to them on our social media channels
