BOSTON, May 19, 2014 – The MSPCA-Angell today announced an action-packed agenda for its annual Spring Gala, to be held Wednesday, May 21 at Space 57 at the Revere Hotel in Boston. Four hundred guests are expected to celebrate the many ways the MSPCA has touched their lives, and the lives of their pets. The event also serves as a signature fundraiser for the MSPCA; the organization hopes to raise over $400,000 to support its ongoing shelter, advocacy, law enforcement and veterinary programs.
WCVB-TV anchor and passionate animal champion Randy Price will again emcee the Gala, which will run from 6:00p.m. to 9:30p.m. Chairing the event for the second time is one of Boston’s top lifestyle gurus: writer, stylist and marketing consultant Erica Corsano, who was just named “Social Studies” columnist for the Boston Herald. The event kicks off with MSPCA-Angell President Carter Luke’s “Animal Tales” presentation, which overviews several heartwarming stories of animals the MSPCA helped in the course of the last year.
The Spring Gala will again include a live auction with all proceeds earmarked for the MSPCA’s animal protection programs. Attendees will bid on a total of six prize packages including:
The full summary of auction and raffle packages can be found here.
Said Corsano on her second time chairing the Gala, “The Spring Gala has fast become a signature Boston fundraiser for a cause near and dear to my heart: the plight of animals of all kinds. I’m honored to again serve as Chair and look forward to seeing hundreds of friends, as well as the generous sponsors who are again supporting the Gala. It’s a fantastic evening to celebrate the MSPCA’s mission with animal lovers from every community around the city while enjoying a spectacular evening of food, drink and reverie!”
Tickets for the Spring Gala are now on sale. For more information about the event readers can click here.
