Jen Yao

Jen began her career in veterinary medicine at North Reading Veterinary Clinic in 2020. She immediately developed a passion for the field and pursued a veterinary technology degree from North Shore Community College, which she earned in May 2023. During her studies, she also worked at VCA Wakefield to gain hands-on experience working with exotic species. In October 2023, Jen joined the Neurology department at the MSPCA-Angell, where she assists Dr. Daniel in appointments, MRIs, and surgical procedures. She enjoys building client relationships and getting to know their pets’ unique personalities. Her ultimate goal is to earn her VTS in Neurology. When she’s not working, Jen loves to travel, cook, kayak, and spend time with her Dutch rabbit, Cleopatra, and two black cats, Ipswich and Salem.
